LIFE Fellowship is committed to challenging our church family to “Embrace the Great Commission.” We do this strategically through our missions budget which represents 10% of our annual income plus any additional donations that people make specifically for missions.
We focus on both local and global ministries and missions. We partner with para-church ministries, gospel-sharing initiatives, individuals and special projects. Roughly 10% of the budget is used for benevolence needs within the church family, 25% is used each in Local, National and International Projects and Partnerships and the remainder is used for Missionary Support, Missions Trips and LIFE Support for projects approved through our LIFE Groups.
We have a three-fold approach – Head, Heart and Hands.
The “Head” emphasizes the development and distribution of materials such as Bibles, videos, the One-Minute Apologist and other projects that seek to educate people with the Gospel.
The “Heart” deals with Evangelism. Every missions project and partner must have a gospel component – whether it is a social justice initiative, a project, a partnership or support for an individual or agency.
The “Hands” involves personal service – this involves taking the Gospel to the streets in the form of acts of public service and support of those in needs.
Our August Missions Emphasis is School Supplies for Success which benefits the Ada Jenkins Center's LEARN Works program. We will be collecting school supplies through the end of the month. Click here for more information and a list of needed supplies.
