Manny Santiago

I was born in the city of Manila, Philippines. I moved to the United States when I was 15 years old in 1983.

The Lord has blessed me with my family: my wife and best friend Karyn who I married in December of 1999 and our two children, September and Brannen.

I serve as the Assimilation Director at LIFE overseeing the Greeter, Guest Service, Usher Ministry, & help come alongside people in relation to their various inquiries and needs.

The Lord used a nexus in my life which produced a desperation and an intense search for meaning and purpose in life. I came to a saving relationship with Christ while reading through the Book of Romans with the truth and reality of God’s grace i.e. He loves me despite of me. He demonstrated that love through Christ’s suffering on the Cross.

My life’s desire is to live and experience the meaning of Paul’s declaration in Philippians 3:7-10. He declared that all his personal accomplishments apart from Christ was a loss in comparison to “the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord.” He also went on to say that his grounding motivation for life is to “…know Christ and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…” (Phil. 3:10).

My heart’s desire as well is for people to know this excellency of knowing Christ and having an intimate relationship with Him to be the only true security in life. Paul declares this in Col. 2:9, when he said, “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are COMPLETE in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”
