I’ve been part of the LIFE Fellowship leadership team for nearly eight years and have most recently been asked to serve as the Directional Teaching Pastor after previously serving as the Executive Pastor. My wife, Julie, and I have four adult children and three grandchildren. We have been married for thirty-four years.
I’m a native of Missouri and was reared in a Christian home. I hold three degrees in education including a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I spent the first 18 years of my ministry in South Florida where I served as the Lead Pastor of Grace Fellowship in West Palm Beach.
While at Grace, I served in positions ranging from an English teacher in their Christian school, to the school principal to the Lead Pastor. I also served as the President of the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and School while there.
In 2000, I moved to Charlotte to pastor a large church with a Christian school and briefly returned to South Florida in 2008-2010 before returning to the Lake Norman area. I am also a graduate-school professor, faculty mentor and doctoral adviser for Liberty University.
For fun, I enjoy reading and writing. I also love to garden and of course, spend time with my family. Above all, I want to model Romans 12:1-2 and I love serving the people of LIFE Fellowship. I’m extremely passionate about missions and training national pastors around the world and frequently travel the globe teaching and mentoring emerging leaders.
