Steve Robertson

I was born in Ontario, Canada, and immigrated to the Great State of Texas in 1975.  I attended Texas A&M University, where I was in ROTC, the Corps of Cadets, and the Aggie Band.  I met my wife, Michelle, at Texas A&M.  We graduated and quickly married in 1989.  Michelle is a Pediatric Physical Therapist who owns her own business, and I am an Airline Pilot for American Airlines.  I currently fly the A330, primarily to Europe.  My aviation background is flying the F-15E Strike Eagle in the US Air Force.

My military heritage has been continued by my three sons, Patrick (West Point, Army 82nd Airborne, Ranger, Infantry Platoon Leader), Sasha (who was adopted from Russia as a teenager, and is now serving in the US Navy on the USS Gerald R. Ford), and John (US Air Force Academy, and future fighter pilot!).  Our daughter, Catherine, is flourishing in high school at SouthLake Christian Academy.  Catherine plans to attend NC State and pursue a career in Medicine.

I became a Christian in college, but did not truly follow Christ as He desires until after I left the Air Force.  We moved to Frisco, Texas in 1999, where Chuck Swindoll had just started a new church.  We joined, and met Matt and Jenny Hatfield, whom we would later follow to Charlotte to help plant LIFE Fellowship Church!  We have been members of LIFE Fellowship since Day-One in 2004.

The Robertson family has served in virtually every capacity within the Church, from KidLIFE to Elder.  Our greatest joy has been watching the Lord grow His Church, saving and changing lives through the Holy Spirit acting in the servant hearts of the family we call LIFE!
