Roland was born and raised in MIAMI! His family came from Cuba in 1962. After his parents divorced at the age of two, his grandparents poured into his life, and instilled a love for God and the church.

After graduating from Clearwater Christian College he experienced the first of what he describes as the six highlights of his life. In 1994 he married the love of his life Tammy Lynn. The second, third, fourth, and fifth highlights were the births of each of their four daughters - Marissa Lynn, Amanda Lauren, Abigail Renee, and Brianna Alicia. Four years later came their "only begotten" son, Rolando Cayetano, "Cai".

The Lord has given Roland the opportunity to serve in various aspects of ministry. He has been involved with teaching, coaching, pastoring and administrative positions at the high school level. Roland is thrilled to be on staff where he can pour all his energy to reaching and discipling children, youth, and their parents.

Roland enjoys watching any MIAMI sports team, playing most sports, early mornings, and a good cup of CUBAN coffee. He also relishes the time he gets to spend with his wife and five children! They enjoy camping, riding bike, jumping on the trampoline, playing tickle monster, and just being together.
