LifeWorks
There are certain verses in the Bible that resonate with people more than others. At Life Fellowship we have a few of these. One of the verses that has sort of marinated its way into our DNA is Matthew 5:16. Have you ever heard that verse before? If not, it’s Jesus speaking in one of His finest moments as He delivers the Sermon on the Mount. Here is what He called all of us to when He said, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Life Works is our ministry that helps us fulfill the passion Jesus expressed in that verse. The church was never meant to be a monastery, but a vibrant vehicle for life change in the community. One of the greatest ways the church can make an impact on the community is when the church realizes it doesn’t merely exist for itself.
LifeWorks serves to glorify God by building bridges into the community through acts of service so that the love of God will be revealed and people will be inspired to know Christ personally.
Life Works is a ministry designed to help meet the needs of our greater Charlotte area. Life Fellowship through the ministry of Life Works engages itself in many service opportunities. Among them are: helping the poor, feeding the hungry, city clean-up days and working with other groups such as: Mooresville Crisis Pregnancy Center, Habitat for Humanity and more.
