Life Worship Blog

At Life Fellowship our desire is for each of our members to come to worship, eagerly expecting to experience the powerful presence of God. Our favorite words to hear from our guests about our Sunday morning service are, “We really sensed the presence of God in this place.”

Every week our Sunday morning services are God-centered, biblically saturated and response oriented. By response oriented that means each week we challenge the church to respond to God by not only hearing His Word, but living it out in their daily lives. James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word and deceive yourselves, do what it says.”

Our Sunday morning worship experience is designed for people to be more than mere spectators, but participants. Our dress style is come as you are and our music style is roots and relevance. Each week we sing new songs to the Lord and yet we utilize the old hymns in new ways. Our goal is not entertainment, nor slickness, but engagement. We want the people of God engaging God as God. We show up on Sunday for an audience of One. We are there to honor God’s greatness, God’s fame, God’s glory and simply God’s nature. From our planning to our worship we long to pave the way for a God-centered atmosphere. We don’t worship to lift up the pastor, nor the praise team. No, we come together to lift up the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We come together to experience the Trinity in unity. You could say our worship philosophy is a vertical philosophy. It’s a time to take our eyes off of ourselves and to fix them on the grandeur of God.
